Here is a picture I took of a Capybara at Happy Hollow Zoo in San Jose, CA this past weekend. It’s a small zoo with an impressive collection of exotic animals. I only caught a glimpse of the backside of their jaguar. I could have taken some cool pictures of my sons in the petting zoo but they thought the place was too stinky. *sigh*

The Little Mermaid showed up for my niece’s birthday party this past weekend. “Ariel” entertained the kids so well and sang Part of Your World flawlessly. My sister hired her from Children’s Delight, an outfit in San Jose that specializes in character shows and party events.
Just got back from watching the San Jose Sharks vs. the Chicago Blackhawks at the HP Pavilion San Jose Arena. It’s the first time I’ve gone to a live hockey game. It was quite exciting. The Sharks were able to catch up 2-2 but they lost in overtime. Thanks go out to my boss for giving us, at the last minute, the tickets which were for luxury box seats. Little did he know that today is the anniversary of my first date with O (the Lord has a way of working these things out). We brought along with us O’s sis and her husband.
I’m posting this from the Apple Store Valley Fair in San Jose, CA. This is my first time here. I went to the one in Palo Alto the first week the flat panel iMacs came out. My next stop: Apple Store Emeryville.
