Digital Pinay
Thursday, January 20th, 2005A whole lot of brouhaha is buzzing in pinoy online circles over a “glorified beauty pageant” being organized by the Philippine Computer Society.
When I saw the subject line “The Search for Digital Pinay 2005 is on!” in my inbox a few days ago, I thought it was a search for virtual CG women, you know, like a contest similar to this. A search for the pinay Simone, if you will. Or even a contest to create a virtual spokesperson like this site provides.
Hmmm, maybe the organizers should rethink the whole thing and reformat the contest as outlined above. It may help them out of the hole they dug for themselves. Or not. *ducks*
