Dr. Seuss Day

For the commemoration of Dr. Seuss’s birthday yesterday, my son’s school encouraged students to wear the craziest Seuss-inspired shirts. My wife and I quickly put this outfit together for our son. As you can see, he has a tail, a faux fur neck covering, mittens, and a beanie cap (which really belongs to the baby). Mind you, it doesn’t snow where we live in California. A few minutes before he was to leave for school, I noticed that his shirt was too plain. So with him lying on the floor, I placed a coloring book between his shirt and his body. I then proceeded to draw the Cat in the Hat on his shirt with a Sharpie marker!*
*I used a book as reference, of course.

Before I read your entry, I wondered where you got the tee. Cute sketch! You did a good job.
