I’ve been meaning to post about this.* Last April, I stumbled upon one of the freakiest, most amusing weblog entries in the Pinoy web that I’ve ever read. “Toe” of kurokuroatbp wrote about how her six-toed sister discovered that her officemate also has six toes! Here is the entry complete with pictures:
Freaky!
*I think a few of my posts from here on out will start this way. I’ve had a backlog of stuff I’ve been meaning to write about but haven’t had the chance to do so.

You’re right, that’s freaky! But I’m not that freaked out since my family is no stranger to supernumerary phalanges.
Whoa, really? You had me counting your toes in this picture: http://www.flickr.com/photos/noelledg/166177970/ Hahaha!!
But thanks for the “supernumerary phalanges” bit. I was able to look up the right medical term for the condition and added it here as a tag.
It’s not toes I was talking about, though.
Hi. Thanks for linking me. My sister is freaky, no? I don’t know about that “hyperphalangism” bit though. Now, I have something to teach her.
Hi Toe! Your sister is not freaky. That her co-worker turned out to have six toes on the same foot (right foot) is what I thought was freaky and amusing. And that your nickname is Toe adds to the “whoa” factor. Thanks for posting about it.
Now if I could only get myself to write about the anomaly in my own family.
Hmmm, now I’m curious.
