Redo a whole issue in two days? Wow, poor guy.

As for the lawsuit, I wonder what Quark's defense will be? Mmmm, "It's clear, Your Honor. Our logo represents the letter Q and theirs represents the letter a."

We still use Quark for OS9 here at the office for the newspaper. We tried switching over to InDesign for one issue a few years back, but for some reason it wasn't compatible with our printer's setup so they couldn't output it. Our layout guy had to do the ENTIRE newspaper over in Quark. Poor guy didn't get to sleep for two whole days. Don't know if or when we'll be switching over to an OSX version, although I'd welcome any excuse to upgrade our aging G3 towers.

I just wonder why The Scottish Arts Council hasn't pounced on Quark yet for plagiarizing their logo... unless it was Quark's idea first. Either way, it sure smells like an impending lawsuit.

You mean the mini-printing section in every Officemax? Yeah, they're probably more comfortable with MS Publisher or glorified MS Word files.

Hmm...I have Quark 4.1 also. I can't afford the moolah to upgrade, but I've run into trouble with it. Granted it was with Officemax which is hardly a bastion of "pro" publishing but is still a pain to have to deal with.
