Lost in Transition
I’m here at Narita Airport, quickly posting this entry before the fam and I board our connecting flight to Manila. We are embarking on a one month trip to the Philippines. I’ve been away for 22 years. Don’t know what to expect. It’s all about logistics right now. It’ll hit me, I’m sure, like the rush of hot tropical air that would greet me as I finally set foot on Philippine soil.

“…rush of hot tropical air…” think sauna. That’s what my hubby thought of it.

Wow! 22 years? You’ll notice the change in infrastructure immediately, from EDSA, LRT, buildings everywhere, etc. Enjoy your vacation!

Phisch: sauna is correct. Nothing like sweating for doing nothing.
Marie: Yes, 22 years. Yup, a lot has changed. A lot has stayed the same too.
