		<description>I wonder what the long-term effects of the OFW phenomenon will be. I don&#039;t know how it is for people in other countries (the Pinas isn&#039;t the only one that exports that many laborers is it?), but it seems like to lose mom or dad for a long time could have long lasting detrimental effects on the kids. Maybe not as much as it would Americans who don&#039;t always have extended families, I guess.</description>
