		<description>I wonder what the long-term effects of the OFW phenomenon will be. I don't know how it is for people in other countries (the Pinas isn't the only one that exports that many laborers is it?), but it seems like to lose mom or dad for a long time could have long lasting detrimental effects on the kids. Maybe not as much as it would Americans who don't always have extended families, I guess.</description>
