I would've appreciated the shorter version back in elementary. The flag ceremonies, I remember those. Everyone, as in from grade school to high school, had to assemble in front of the flag, forming lines in the quadrangle as we sang the Philippine National Anthem, recited the Panatang Makabayan, and sang the school hymn. This happened *every* morning! That’s fascinating, Nate. I would’ve appreciated the shorter version back in elementary.
