Dogster

Dogster.com is a growing social networking site for dogs put together by “self-described computer and canine geeks.” In this chart, it shows the Philippines as the fourth most represented country on the site with 124 registered dogs (the United Kingdom has 121). You realize the Philippines’ numbers can be much higher than that, don’t you?

Philippines? That’s a surprise, don’t people know that in Asia dogs are considered food. Just kidding, just depends where. Have not tried it, but I’m curious to taste it, heh. By the way, my fiancÈe has close to 20 Labs! I hope she does not smell like a dog when I get back or we’ll have a Labarbecue Fest. Just kidding.

Strangely enough, I saw the stage version of Jessica Hagesaw’s Dogeaters at the La Jolla Playhouse. Needless to say, it was difficult trying to explain the “bakla” subculture.
