Luther
A film on the life of Martin Luther is coming out this month. The church’s most famous reformer is played by Joseph Fiennes. Shouldn’t he have been played by Alfred Molina (who is also in the movie) instead?

maybe joseph fiennes can convey much more conviction than alfred molina. he was a passable shakespeare before anyway.

true, ariel, but joseph fiennes just looks too pretty and skinny to portray luther. =)

i love movies, the more exotic the better. but i just walked out of Luther after 20 minutes. it was just so damn heavy handed and gave such little insight. there are jesus “documentaries” on CBN that have less painful acting.
