Those of you whom have attempted to contact me using my site’s email form recently, please try again. It turns out the email form, which previously worked, weren’t passing variables to the script because of a change in my hosting company’s server configuration. In other words, I got your email messages but with no name, return address or body. I fixed the problem now after much digging around for solutions in PHP bulletin boards and script sites. I merely had to use $_POST in place of the old variables to get the form working again. Whew, there’s nothing like coding with one hand while cradling a baby and favoring bruised ribs all at once in 90 degree weather.

I had a nasty spill en route to work on my bike this morning. It’s quite embarrassing to reveal the reason behind my fall.

Well, ok, bees.

Or maybe it was just one.

But he was fast.

I tried to outrun him but he was hot on my trail. I panicked and lost control of my bike. Next thing I knew I was flat on my face with my bike underneath me. I have a nasty scrape on my left forearm, my left palm is bruised up, my right knee is cut, my left thigh is throbbing and my rib cage hurts.

Funny thing is just moments before I was pondering how a coin-operated newspaper rack near my work has remained devoid of newspapers for several weeks now because a swarm of wasps has taken it over. I guess that just heightened my fear when I saw the bee go after me.

The Little Mermaid showed up for my niece’s birthday party this past weekend. “Ariel” entertained the kids so well and sang Part of Your World flawlessly. My sister hired her from Children’s Delight, an outfit in San Jose that specializes in character shows and party events.

A new tapioca drink shop opened at a nearby Asian mall here in Fremont. It’s called Quickly which apparently is a growing franchise business world-wide. Aside from having the largest selection of pearl drinks I’ve ever seen, it’s wi-fi ready. Woohoo! Goodbye, Starbucks.
